The Reserve Volunteer Fire Department consists of 4 stations, 4 pumpers, a 75ft ladder pumper, 1 heavy rescue unit, 1 medium rescue unit, 1 amphibious rescue vehicle, 3 support vehicles, and  28 members.

RVFD covers an area of 38.5 square miles known as fire protection district 4 in St. John the Baptist Parish, Reserve, La.

RVFD has an IRC rating of 3 and a population of 12,000.
